(Crain’s) — Steven Rogers is stepping down as conduct of a entrepreneurship module during Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Mr. Rogers, 53, has been executive of a Levy Institute for Entrepreneurial Practice given it was founded 7 years ago. The South Side highbrow twice was named a business school’s many renouned teacher.

His departure, announced dual weeks ago, came as a warn on campus. Mr. Rogers says he told Kellogg Dean Sally Blount in Apr that he dictated to step down.

“Professor Rogers has stepped down as executive to concentration on other educational pursuits and will transition over a summer though sojourn on expertise as a highbrow of entrepreneurship,” a mouthpiece said.

A grave hunt for a deputy has not been announced. The preference will be closely watched as it might vigilance where Ms. Blount, who became Kellogg’s vanguard a year ago, intends to take a module during a time when seductiveness in entrepreneurship is flourishing among students entering business school.

In announcing Mr. Rogers’ preference to step down on May 9, Ms. Blount said, “During his reign as executive of a Levy Institute, Steven has spearheaded large initiatives and fueled extensive unrestrained for entrepreneurship as a margin of investigate and use during Kellogg.”
